A pregnant woman and a baby were among those who died in a twin suicide bomb attack at a bus terminal in Damaturu in Yobe state this morning. The state police commands spokesperson, DSP Toyin Gbadegeshin said this to news men after the incident
“The suicide bomb girl detonated the explosive at the screening centre of the motor park gate, killing herself and four others, including a pregnant woman and a baby. The other explosive went off at about the same time with the first one at Pompomari, when a suspected male suicide bomber, sensing he will be apprehended, ran into a nearby bush and the explosive went off, killing him alone,” he said.

This Chinese woman had a public meltdown and threw an epic tantrum for 90 minutes on a street after she received a text message from her boyfriend ending their relationship. She was walking on a busy Hong Kong street when the text came in and she immediately threw herself down on the floor, screaming. A few people tried to intervene but she refused help and seemed inconsolable. After about an hour and a half of the display, paramedics were called to the scene and she was restrained and taken away on a stretcher. Watch and see more photos below...

There was disarray during the weekend at Oba Market Benin after a 23-year-old hair dresser named Miss Faith Idehen, had her left ear bitten off by her Landlord's daughter.
According to a report by Vanguard, trouble started when the landlord's daughter demanded for N1,500, being the monthly payment for electricity bill. The hairdresser pleaded that she did not have up to that amount, but deposited N1,000 with a promise to pay the balance of N500 later in the day.
Unknown to her, the landlord's daughter allegedly trailed, caught up with her at the popular Yanga Fish Market and pounced on her.

Couple having sex on walls of castle in northern France fall to their deaths

The bodies of the two men were found naked in the partially dry moat surrounding the Vauban Fort in northern France on Thursday morning.
Their belongings were found on the battlements 40ft above, leading police to believe they were having sex when they fell.
One 31-year-old man was found in the dry part of the moat, while his partner was discovered shortly after in water only 5ft deep.
Both men are believed to be from Normandy and were on a holiday visiting the castle when the accident occurred.
France’s Le Figaro paper quoted a police source as saying the men were probably ‘making love – and something went wrong’.

Nigerian Army reinstates 2,500 soldiers and 102 officers

Over 2,500 soldiers who were dismissed or asked to withdraw from service for refusing to fight Boko Haram and other counter-insurgency offenses have been recalled by the Nigerian army. 102 officers who were facing prosecution over their involvement or lack of involvement in the fight against Boko Haram, have also been re-instated. They were re-instated by a panel set up by the Army last week.
The soldiers and officers are now retraining at the Nigerian Army Training Centre, Kontangora, Niger State.
