Oshiomole fires 4 of his commissioners

Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole has fired four of his Commissioners in the State Executive Council. A statement by the governor's Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Prince Kassim Afegbua, says the termination of appointments is in line with the governor's commitment to strengthen the system towards optimal performance. The affected commissioners are: 
-Chief Lucky James, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs;
-Mrs. Maigida Blessing, Commissioner for Women Affairs;
-Mr. Patrick Aguinede, Commissioner for Basic Education
-Mr. Chris Ebare, Commissioner for Energy and Water Resources.
The statement adds that the termination is with immediate effect. The affected commissioners have been advised to hand over all government property in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries in their respective Ministries.
